Rockdale County offers a new $1.2 million public tennis facility called the Rockdale Tennis Center. The center, which opened in July 2009, includes 14 hard courts, 10 of which are lighted, ample parking and pro-shop services.
The Tennis Center is located on seven acres adjacent to Wheeler Park. The park, which can be reserved at the center for personal group outings, offers a covered pavilion with picnic tables, grills and restrooms and a playground.
Rockdale Tennis Center is home to over 100 adult and junior ALTA and USTA teams. Lessons are available for all ages and levels of playing skill.
